64. Body Scan

Narrative:

Examination: Whole body bone scan.

Indication:

Breast cancer.

Findings:

Partial whole body views and spot views of the head and neck demonstrate numerous foci of abnormal uptake consistent with metastases, involving all levels of the imaged thoracic and lumbar spine, the skull base and left frontal skull, possibly multiple cervical vertebrae, most ribs, the sacrum, both sides of the pelvis (multiple foci) and both femora and bilaterally in the knees.
